Holidays in Glykadi

Hidden away in the hillsides of Thassos' north-east coast, the seaside village of Glykadi is something of an unsung hero – you'll certainly have a hard time finding it in the guide books. The beach has a selection of watersports, plus bikes can be hired to explore the area. If you want to up the tempo even further, Thassos Town – the island's capital – can be easily reached via the local bus service. With its flurry of shops, bars and restaurants, you'll be able to experience the flip-side of this Greek island.
